The Shackford Head State Park is a small park near the airport of Eastport, Maine. It encompasses 90 acres on Moose Island overlooking Cobscook Bay and has about three miles of hiking trails.

At Eisenhower Park, I took the outer loop. So it’s the longest possible trail and includes the Leon Creek Greenway Trail, Hillview Nature Trail, the View Tower, Red Oak Trail, Around Bush Hill, and back over Hillview Nature Trail.

The Kerrville River Trail spans 9 miles, featuring a smooth concrete path suitable for walking, hiking, and biking. While offering stunning views, the trail tends to experience high traffic.
